The Kansas City Chiefs are 6-5 after a 23-20 overtime win against the Indianapolis Colts.
It was a much-needed win for Kansas City after two straight losses, and although it wasn't the prettiest, it is a win that puts them back above .500.
On Thanksgiving Day, the Chiefs face the Dallas Cowboys, who sit at 5-5-1, in Dallas.
Every game from here on out is very important for Kansas City, and the AFC West has the Denver Broncos and Los Angeles Chargers at one and two, respectively.
The Chiefs moved up from No. 15 to No. 12 in the latest NFL.com power rankings, and here's what Eric Edholm wrote.
"This was a season-preserving win, no doubt, and Kansas City slayed the one-possession-game dragon by beating Indianapolis. The Chiefs might have won 12 one-score games a season ago, but prior to Sunday, they'd lost five straight in the 2025 campaign. And it required an 11-point comeback in the final nine minutes, with Patrick Mahomes coming up big in money spots and Kareem Hunt atoning for his fumble with a productive effort otherwise. If Kansas City can get Isiah Pacheco back, that's great, but Hunt really seems to have reclaimed the captain's chair for now. The Chiefs' defense had a few early shaky moments, unable to get home rushing four, but Steve Spagnuolo dialed up the blitzes and smothered the Colts after halftime. Is K.C. back? For now, yeah."
It was indeed a "season-preserving win" for Kansas City, and a loss would've put the Chiefs at 5-6 with a tough road ahead.
The question is, can they continue to rattle off some wins? With Patrick Mahomes at quarterback, this is not a team anybody should count out, at least not yet.
The Chiefs will face the Houston Texans on December 7 on Sunday Night Football after a lengthy break following Thanksgiving Day, but this team needs to continue winning games if they want to secure any sort of playoff spot.
