Two of the NFL's best offensive talents are going head-to-head as the Kansas City Chiefs travel to take on the Seattle Seahawks.
The Kansas City Chiefs' route over the Los Angeles Chargers lands them as one of the three undefeated teams left in the NFL this season.
Last Sunday, the Chiefs hosted a divisional foe in the Chargers, who are amid one of the most disappointing seasons in the team's history. While many expected LA to be a top dog this season, things have gone completely awry and the team is 0-6.
As expected from a Kansas City point of view, the team had no issue with their AFC West rival.
Running back Kenneth Walker III continued his MVP-esque campaign with 128 rushing yards and two touchdowns. As a side note, he'd be the first non-quarterback to win the award since Adrian Peterson in 2012.
QB Patrick Mahomes and company handled business in the 22-6 win, scoring two touchdowns and three field goals, while Kansas City's defense only allowed two field goals.
Listen to the full episode for our hosts, Golden J and Chico, for their breakdown of the win. Moving on to what's ahead:
The Chiefs, the San Francisco 49ers and the Minnesota Vikings are all without losses entering Week 7 and the Chiefs are heading to Washington to face the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday, Oct. 25, hoping to continue the trend against the reigning Super Bowl Champions.
Sunday's primetime matchup will boast many storylines, with the biggest being Chiefs' Walker facing his former team for the first time in the regular season. The two met in the final week of preseason, which ended in a 9-9 tie.
The Seahawks are looking to get their season back on track after starting 3-3 and second in the NFC West, while the Chiefs are hoping to remain undefeated.
Most recently, Seattle fell to a different AFC West contender, the Denver Broncos. The Chiefs dominated Denver in their season opener, so on paper this should be a win for Kansas City.
Our hosts are favoring the Chiefs, noting some keys to the game are controlling the red zone and shutting down the Seahawks' offense -- containing wide receiver Jaxson Smith-Njigba as much as possible.
Njigba is challenging Walker as they're both two of the top offensive talents in the league, which could be a recipe for a high-scoring game.
Seattle's defense allows the least yards per game, which could be a challenge for the red-hot Chiefs offense.
Let us know in the comments which team you think will come out on top.
