PITTSBURGH, Penn. — The Indianapolis Colts entered the weekend with defensive end Samson Ebukam (knee) and wide receiver/return specialist Anthony Gould (knee) ruled out, while defensive end Tyquan Lewis (groin), defensive tackle Grover Stewart (foot), and cornerback Jaylon Jones (IR-hamstring) were questionable. Lewis was downgraded to out on Saturday, while Jones was activated from from IR and removed from the injury report. Stewart is also active.
The Steelers ruled wide receiver Scotty Miller (finger), cornerback Cory Trice Jr. (hamstring/knee), and safety Jabrill Peppers (quadricep) out on Friday. Quarterback Will Howard (right hand), safety Chuck Clark (illness), linebacker Malik Harrison (knee), and linebacker Cole Holcomb (illness) were questionable.
On Saturday, the Steelers activated linebacker Harrison off IR, and downgraded safety Clark and Holcomb from questionable to out.
Here are the inactive players for both teams:
The Colts elevated defensive end Durell Nchami and wide receiver Laquon Treadwell from the practice squad for Sunday's game. Treadwell will help provide depth at receiver and on special teams, while Nchami is likely to see a sizable workload off the edge with Ebukam and Lewis out.
This week, the Steelers placed starting safety DeShon Elliott (knee) and defensive tackle Daniel Ekuale (knee) on Injured Reserve. They also called up running back Lew Nichols and former Colts running back Trey Sermon from the practice squad for Sunday's game.
