INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. — This year's Pro Bowl is getting a little extra Indianapolis Colts flavor, as tight end Tyler Warren has been added to the AFC roster.
Warren is just the second rookie tight end in franchise history to earn a Pro Bowl (John Mackey, 1963), joining running back Jonathan Taylor and left guard Quenton Nelson as representatives for the 2025 Colts in San Francisco on Feb. 3.
After being made the 14th overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft, Warren led the Colts in pass targets (112) and was second in receptions (76), receiving yards (817), and receiving first downs (42). He also caught four touchdowns, to go with eight yards and another touchdown on six carries.
His receptions and receiving yards were both the most by a rookie tight end in Colts franchise history, and his five total touchdowns were second.
Las Vegas Raiders tight end Brock Bowers dealt with a left knee injury throughout the season that ultimately landed him on Injured Reserve, also causing him to back out of the Pro Bowl, which gave the nod to Warren as the AFC's first alternate and just the 18th rookie tight end in NFL history to make the Pro Bowl.
Warren, along with Travis Kelce of the Kansas City Chiefs, Trey McBride of the Arizona Cardinals, and George Kittle of the San Francisco 49ers, make up the 2025-26 Pro Bowl tight ends. Kittle, however, suffered a season-ending Achilles injury last week in the Wild Card round of the playoffs, so he is almost surely going to be replaced.
This is the eighth consecutive Pro Bowl for Nelson to begin his career. He was also named a Second-Team All-Pro selection this season, his sixth such honor (three First-Team, three Second-Team).
As for Taylor, this is his third Pro Bowl and his second consecutive season with the honor. He also made the Pro Bowl and was a First-Team All-Pro in 2021 when he led the entire NFL in rushing.
The Colts also had three players in the Pro Bowl in 2024 when linebacker Zaire Franklin joined Nelson and Taylor for his first-career honor.
