INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. — A new week has arrived, which means the NFL is handing over yet another award to Indianapolis Colts superstar running back Jonathan Taylor.
The NFL announced on Thursday that Taylor has been named the AFC's Offensive Player of the Month for October.
Taylor has been on an incredible pace all season, but has especially turned it up over the last month:
Taylor became the first player since Jamaal Charles in 2013 to have a four-game stretch with at least 500 yards from scrimmage and 10 touchdowns.
He currently (and has for several weeks) leads the NFL in rushing, with 850 yards on 143 carries (5.9 avg.), also scoring 12 touchdowns on the ground. Taylor has also added 206 yards and two touchdowns as a receiver.
Taylor leads the league in yards from scrimmage (1,056) and total touchdowns (14).
So far in 2025, Taylor has also earned the AFC Offensive Player of the Week for Weeks 2 and 3, and he was the FedEx Ground Player of the Week for Weeks 3 and 7. He has won each award in his career five and nine times, respectively.
This is the third time in his career that Taylor has been named the AFC Offensive Player of the Month, adding onto October 2021 and November 2021.
