The Indianapolis Colts announced 12 undrafted free agent signings.
The Indianapolis Colts quickly got to work after the 2026 NFL Draft, agreeing to contracts with a large group of undrafted free agents, including a few noteworthy, draftable players.
On Thursday night, on the eve of rookie minicamp, the team announced its 12 undrafted player signings.
Note: A Colts undrafted rookie has made the Week 1 regular season roster in 25 of the last 27 years.
DT Cam Ball, Arkansas
Ball (6'4", 310, 23 years old) was a five-year player at Arkansas who started for the last 2.5 years and has always held an above-average overall grade, according to Pro Football Focus. Ball is a big-bodied interior player with a good blend of power and quickness that could put him in competition to back up Grover Stewart at one-tech.

Brown (6'0", 199, 22), a former teammate of current Colts Hunter Wohler and Tanor Bortolini, is an exceptional athlete who is solidly built. The Colts could tinker with where to play him in the secondary, but if he is going to make the roster, it's through special teams, where he has over 400 career snaps. The Colts guaranteed $272,500 of his contract, according to Joel Erickson of The Indianapolis Star, which is a significant figure for an undrafted free agent.
LB Tahj Chambers, Ole Miss
Chambers (6'2", 231, 26) transferred from Missouri State (2020-24) to Ole Miss for his final season, and continued standing out on special teams. He's a lifer in "the forgotten phase," playing 614 career snaps as a special-teamer. He graded out well in his lone season of major college football, as PFF gave him a mark of 67.8 overall in 380 defensive snaps.
WR Sahmir Hagans, Duke
Hagans (5'11", 188, 23) was a high school track standout who was a consistent performer throughout his college career as a receiver and occasional return specialist. In a whopping 57 career games, Hagans caught 152 passes for 1,586 yards (10.4 avg.) and 14 touchdowns. He also returned 24 kickoffs for a 31.5-yard average and two touchdowns, as well as five punts for a 30.6-yard average and another touchdown.
WR E.J. Horton Jr., Purdue
Horton (6'0", 183, 23) is a well-traveled player who has yet to find production or a consistent home base. He started out at Marshall from 2020-22, then transferred to West Virginia in 2023, Florida Atlantic in 2024, and then Purdue in 2025. In 41 career games, he has 53 receptions for 735 yards (13.9 avg.) and four touchdowns, as well as six carries for 45 yards (7.5 avg.).

Melton (6'3", 253, 24) had a promising start to his college career before injuries derailed things. He was a four-star high school recruit out of Maryland who played for Ohio State from 2020-24, missing 2021-22 because of injury, before transferring to Virginia in 2025. He's been healthy now for three years and rebounded nicely in 2025 with the Cavaliers, posting 10 tackles for loss, 5.0 sacks, three forced fumbles, and an interception.
RB Lincoln Pare, Texas State
Pare (5'8", 190, 24) is a productive five-year player who finally got a chance to stand out in 2025 and took the opportunity. He amassed 1,440 yards from scrimmage and 14 touchdowns on 247 touches in 13 games. He was top-five in the Sun Belt Conference in 2025 in carries, rushing yards, rushing touchdowns, touches, yards from scrimmage, and total touchdowns.
OT Nolan Rucci, Penn State
Rucci (6'8", 314, 23) is an experienced player who has played in 34 games (18 starts) and amassed 1,295 snaps. At 6'8", with 34-inch arms, Rucci is an intriguing player who could be in the mix to make the Colts' roster or even compete for swing tackle duties.
WR Raylen Sharpe, Arkansas
Sharpe (5'9', 173, 24) is another well-traveled player who has spent time with Houston (2021-22), Missouri State (2023), Fresno State (2024), and Arkansas (2025). He was a high school All-American in track, whose game on the football field is built on speed. In 45 career games (19 starts), Sharpe has 181 receptions for 2,413 yards (13.3 avg.), and 14 touchdowns, as well as 12 carries for 122 yards (10.2 avg.).
ACU running back Jordon Vaughn slips past his teammate, wide receiver J.J. Henry who blocks SFA defensive back Kameron Reddic from making a tackle Saturday Sept. 6, 2025. Abilene Christian University defeated Stephen F. Austin University at home, 28-20.C Geno VanDeMark, Alabama
VanDeMark (6'4", 314, 23) has great size for a guard, and played there collegiately, but is listed as a center with the Colts. He saw 1,063 snaps at right guard, 291 at left guard, 161 at center, and three at left tackle over the last four years. He has 1,520 offensive snaps of experience between Michigan State (2022-23) and Alabama (2024-25).
RB Jordon Vaughn, Abilene Christian
Vaughn (6'3", 228, 22) is a huge running back with plenty of power and decent open-field speed. In 2025, he averaged 4.42 yards after contact per carry, with 13 runs of 10-plus yards. He also has nearly 150 snaps of experience on special teams, which could help him make the Colts' roster.
LB West Weeks, LSU
Weeks (6'2", 230, 23) is a perfect special teams prospect for the Colts. He has five years of experience and 454 snaps on special teams since 2021, and his decent speed and hitting power would be welcomed in Colts special teams coordinator Brian Mason's group.
