In the fourth round of the 2026 NFL Draft, with the 113th overall pick, the Indianapolis Colts selected Kentucky guard Jalen Farmer.

PROS

At just under 6'5" and 312 pounds, with 34-plus-inch arms, Farmer has terrific size for the interior of the offensive line. He's also a quality athlete who ran a 4.93-second 40-yard dash at the NFL Scouting Combine, with a 1.75-second 10-yard split.

He's got a powerful frame and creates leverage easily. Farmer has a career pass-block efficiency rate of 97.9.

He is a transfer from Florida, who has started the last 24 consecutive games at right guard and spent four years in the AFC.

CONS

Farmer's footwork is a work in progress, primarily in keeping them moving throughout the play, but also in moving laterally so that he doesn't have to overextend himself unnecessarily.

FIT WITH COLTS

There are a few potential roles for Farmer. First, he could compete for the starting right guard spot with third-year player Matt Goncalves. Farmer could also compete for a backup role at guard or center, pushing Dalton Tucker and Jimmy Morrissey.
