The Indianapolis Colts listed one player out and another questionable for Sunday night's game against the Kansas City Chiefs.
There was an interesting development on the Indianapolis Colts' practice injury report on Thursday, as wide receiver Alec Pierce sat out for the first time since returning from offseason ankle/heel surgery a few weeks ago.
It's not yet known whether this was a planned maintenance day for Pierce's recovery or physically necessary, but head coach Shane Steichen will likely elaborate on Friday when he speaks to the media ahead of the team's Sunday Night Football matchup with the Kansas City Chiefs.

Pierce returned to practice a few weeks ago and officially logged his first full practice of the young regular season on Wednesday after being limited all last week and playing 32 snaps on Sunday, which was 59% of the offense's snaps that day.
However, he followed that up with a DNP on Thursday but returned fully on Friday. Afterward, head coach Shane Steichen said they were just being smart with Pierce.
After not practicing all week, Dulin is out for Sunday, which is a blow to the Colts' special teams at gunner on the punt team, and on kickoff returns.
Ajiake returned to limited practice on Wednesday after sitting out last Friday's practice and missing Sunday's loss to the Baltimore Ravens. He progressed again on Thursday and Friday, logging full practices and is now cleared to return.

The Chiefs got a dose of good news with rookie first-round pick Delane being a full participant in practice. He injured his shoulder on the Chiefs' defense's first drive on Monday but has practiced all week and enters Sunday as questionable.
Starting left tackle Simmons remains out. He was replaced in the lineup last week by undrafted rookie Kahlil Benson out of Indiana. Conner is also listed as the starting strong safety and remains out.
The Colts and Chiefs face off on Sunday at 8:20 p.m. ET at Arrowhead Stadium on Sunday Night Football on NBC.
