The Indianapolis Colts fell to 0-2 on the season Sunday night, losing in overtime to the Kansas City Chiefs at Arrowhead Stadium, 33-30.
When evaluating playing time for the Colts, backup quarterback Anthony Richardson Sr. was active but, as expected, did not play. Emergency third quarterback Riley Leonard, interior offensive lineman Dalton Tucker, edge defender George Gumbs Jr., and linebacker Austin Ajiake were all inactive healthy scratches.
Wide receiver Ashton Dulin was out with an ankle injury, and running back DJ Giddens was technically out with a knee injury but was a healthy scratch last week and likely would've been this week as well.

There were two big shifts in playing time for the Colts. First, top receiver Alec Pierce left late in the first quarter after reaggravating his injured left heel that he had surgically repaired in March. Laquon Treadwell played about 30 more snaps than Week 1 as a result. Rookie Deion Burks also saw his first action, seeing three snaps in his NFL debut.
The Colts also went heavy on the line with tight ends Mo Alie-Cox and Drew Ogletree playing a combined 24 snaps more than they did in Week 1.

The Colts made a couple of minor adjustments. Hunter Wohler began playing more over A.J. Haulcy in the second half and ultimately played five more snaps. Wohler is a more reliable player in the box than Haulcy at this juncture.
The Colts' top draft pick, CJ Allen, made his NFL debut, playing six snaps and making one tackle.
Cornerback Justin Walley was forced to move to the outside from the slot after Charvarius Ward Sr. was lost to a groin injury. Walley played 43 snaps inside and 24 outside, according to Pro Football Focus
