The Indianapolis Colts lost to the Pittsburgh Steelers, 34-22, on Sunday at Acrisure Stadium.

As the Colts continue to adjust to injuries and tinker their lineup, we saw some developments in their snap counts.

Quarterback Anthony Richardson Sr. and running back DJ Giddens were both active but did not play. It was the first game Giddens had been active for this season.

Inactives entering the game were quarterback Riley Leonard (emergency QB3), wide receivers Ashton Dulin (hamstring) and Darius Slayton (knee), guard Dalton Tucker (healthy scratch), and linebacker Jaylon Carlies (ribs).

Edge defender Arden Key was placed on Injured Reserve prior to the game, giving a bigger opportunity to Jaylahn Tuimoloau, Caden Curry, and George Gumbs Jr. Likewise, with Dulin and Slayton out, the Colts called up Nick Westbrook-Ikhine from the practice squad and gave Deion Burks and Laquon Treadwell more work.

Here are the Colts' snap counts from offense, defense, and special teams:

For the second straight week, McGowan notched his highest single-game snap total.

This was the most extensive action the Colts allowed some of their linebackers to see. With Davis-Gaither's 87% representing his lowest share of the season, Allen and Ajiake both saw their largest share. Boettcher started the game alongside Davis-Gaither due to Carlies' absence, but Boettcher's playtime dipped dramatically after taking a poor angle on a play that went for an 80-yard touchdown.

Sunday set new single-game career highs in snap share for Tuimoloau, Smith, and Gumbs. The rookie Gumbs actually saw his first regular-season action ever on Sunday.
