Two Indianapolis Colts players were named to Pro Football Focus' NFL Week 4 Team of the Week.
The Indianapolis Colts delivered their strongest team effort of the season on Sunday, defeating the Washington Commanders in London, 30-13.
The offense scored six times, the defense limited Washington to just one touchdown, and the Colts were perfect in the kicking game.
With a commanding victory such as that, there were obviously some standout performers.
Pro Football Focus released its NFL Week 4 Team of the Week, with two Colts making the cut.
Matt Goncalves a Two-Time 2026 Honoree
This is the second time that third-year player Goncalves has made the PFF Team of the Week in 2026, as he was also on the Week 1 team.
Goncalves was the Colts' highest-graded offensive player (80.2) on Sunday, with his pass blocking (76.4) third behind Quenton Nelson (83.4) and Mo Alie-Cox (77.2), and Goncalves' run blocking (76.3) second to Tanor Bortolini (821.3), and third if you consider Luke Tenuta's six run blocks (81.8).
Goncalves was one of 11 guards with a 100.0% pass-block efficiency, and his 37 pass-pro reps tied for the second-most in the group.
According to PFF, the Colts ran behind Goncalves eight times for 36 yards (4.5 avg.), one touchdown, and two first downs.
Goncalves was the fourth-highest-rated guard in Week 4 and the third-highest-rated right guard, but his grades were more consistent than the other right guards', giving him the edge. Chris Lindstrom and Austin Barber struggled in pass protection, while Goncalves had no weak areas.
Behind a strong offensive line performance, the Colts ran the ball 28 times for 131 yards (4.7 avg.) and three touchdowns.
Akeem Davis-Gaither Makes Strong Impression
This was comfortably Davis-Gaither's best performance of his short tenure with the Colts. His 91.6 overall grade was the top grade of any player on the team, and he also led the team in run defense (86.3) and pass rush (91.6), which were also the best marks among all NFL linebackers. Davis-Gaither's tackling (82.0) and pass coverage (81.1) were both second on the Colts.
He finished with eight tackles, and PFF credited him with four "stops," plays in which a defender forces the offense into a failed play.
Davis-Gaither was the closest defender in coverage on four targets, allowing three catches for 20 yards (6.7 avg.).
The Colts' defense held the Commanders to 317 yards of offense and one touchdown, which did not come in the red zone (0-of-2 in the red zone). Washington had a third-down conversion rate of just 13.3% (2-of-15), their lowest in a calendar year.
