On the latest episode of the Locked On Colts Squad show, Derek, Allen, Zach, and Jake discuss the Indianapolis Colts' quarterback situation and what the outlook should be for the rest of the regular season.

On the latest episode of the Locked On Colts Squad Show on the Locked On Podcast Network, hosts Derek Schultz, Allen Pinkett, Zach Hicks, and Jake Arthur discuss the Indianapolis Colts' quarterback situation, go through overreactions and underreactions, put a lens on the rest of the season, and take a quick look at this Monday's matchup with the San Francisco 49ers.

The Colts pulled 44-year-old quarterback Philip Rivers out of retirement following a season-ending Achilles injury to Daniel Jones. Heeding the call to duty, Rivers had a modest performance against the Seattle Seahawks in a narrow, 18-16 loss. Schultz, Pinkett, Hicks, and Arthur discuss Rivers' performance, whether it was good enough for the Colts to salvage their season, and what expectations for the offense must be with Rivers at the helm.

While it was recently reported that Colts quarterback Anthony Richardson Sr. (eye) has been cleared for physical activity, he remains on Injured Reserve and has not yet returned to practice. While some on the outside have cried foul about Richardson not being activated, he's been physically unable to do so.

As the Colts Squad does every Wednesday night, they aired their grievances about overreactions and underreactions surrounding the Colts. Among them, defensive end Laiatu Latu's season isn't getting enough appreciation. While he's not putting up the superstar production that would come from a top draft pick, Latu is clearly improving and making more and more plays.

Among the overreactions are complaints about defensive coordinator Lou Anarumo's defense playing too soft down the stretch. The tape revealed this to be false. Trailing 18-16 with just under a minute left in the game, the Seahawks got a pair of quality passes to wide receiver Rashid Shaheed to get them into field goal range. The Colts were not in prevent coverage, and they even blitzed, forcing a Sam Darnold incompletion on third down before Seattle's game-winning field goal. This was just a matter of players winning their matchups.

Lastly, the Colts host the 49ers at Lucas Oil Stadium on Monday Night Football this week. Along with this matchup, the Colts have the Jacksonville Jaguars at home and the Houston Texans on the road to round out the regular season. How will they fare, and can they afford any more losses if they hope to get into the postseason?
