Indianapolis Colts running back Jonathan Taylor made the NFL's Top 100 Players list for 2026.
The NFL recognizes greatness in Indianapolis, as Colts running back Jonathan Taylor has made the NFL Top 100 Players list for 2026, ranking No. 17.
This is just the second time in Taylor's career that he's made the list, ranking No. 5 in 2022 after his breakout First-Team All-Pro season when he led the league in rushing yards.
Taylor returned to prominence in 2025 after orchestrating what might've been his most impressive season yet since joining the league as a second-round pick in 2020, and it recently earned him a contract extension of two years and $44 million, keeping him in Indy through 2028.
Taylor led the NFL in carries (323), rushing touchdowns (18), total touchdowns (20), and rushing first downs (84), was second in touches (369) and third in rushing yards (1,585) and yards from scrimmage (1,963), eighth among running backs in receiving first downs (15), and tied for 10th in yards per carry (4.9). He also had eight games with at least 100 yards from scrimmage (including three with 150-plus) and five games with at least three touchdowns.
According to NFL.com, in the first 10 games of the season, Taylor led the NFL with 4.7 yards after contact per carry and had a forced missed tackle rate of 35.4%.
Taylor has now led the NFL in carries, rushing touchdowns, and total touchdowns twice.
The three-time Pro Bowler set new career highs in pass targets (55), receptions (46), receiving yards (378), and tied his single-season best in receiving touchdowns (2). Taylor also reached new highs in receiving first downs (15), receiving success rate (54.5%), and pass protection grade (58.6), according to Pro Football Focus.
Taylor had several signature moments throughout the 2025 season, but perhaps none greater than on the international stage in Week 10, when the Colts took on the Atlanta Falcons in Berlin, Germany. Taylor touched the ball 35 times, totaling 286 yards of offense and three touchdowns, including the game-winner in overtime.
In 84 career games (78 starts), Taylor has 1,551 carries for 7,598 yards (4.9 avg.) and 69 touchdowns, along with 187 receptions for 1,469 yards (7.9 avg.) and another seven touchdowns.
Taylor is just 1,629 rushing yards shy of breaking Edgerrin James' Colts franchise record for career rushing yards (9,226) after Taylor snapped James' career rushing touchdown mark (64) last season.
Taylor also currently ranks fifth in NFL history in rushing yards per game (90.5), behind only Jim Brown, Barry Sanders, Terrell Davis, and Eric Dickerson.
