Micah Parsons Rips 'Sick' Cowboys Critics Over Eagles Super Bowl Pick cover image

"You people are sick!'' responds Micah Parsons to criticism that his Super Bowl support of the Eagles is "the lowest, saddest moment in Cowboys history.''

FRISCO - We can say this part for fun: Dallas Cowboys fans were already experiencing enough agony because they'll have to watch the "hated'' Philadelphia Eagles in the Super Bowl ... and then, in the true sense of "sports hate,'' got to be "bothered'' again because Cowboys star Micah Parsons is pals with Eagles tackle Lane Johnson and is therefore rooting for Philly in Super Bowl LVII over the Kansas City Chiefs.

"Love you big bro!" Parsons tweeted to Johnson. "Keep going! Not many like you! Definitely not playing like you healthy or with a torn groin! Go win a bowl for our division!"

All in good fun. Right?

But now, Parsons, a native Pennsylvanian, is angered by some in Cowboys Nation (and/or observers of Cowboys Nation) who are taking their "sports hate'' to an overzealous level. One of those is the website "Barstool Sports,'' which in its overwrought (and "humorous?'') manner labeled the Cowboys/Eagles crossover "the lowest, saddest moment in Cowboys history.''

Replied Micah: "You people are sick! You will sit in your own misery because of lack of accomplishments than root for others!! I have no Shame! The league is a brotherhood ! I’ll never pray down on another man success nor be ashamed to say I’m happy for my brothers success!''

The Eagles and Chiefs will kickoff from Arizona on Sunday, Feb. 12 at 5:30 p.m. CT. ... and maybe Cowboys Nation can scale down the "sports hate'' just a bit while turning up the fun.
