The Cowboys are a little banged up ahead of Week 17, but so are the Commanders.

The Dallas Cowboys are two games away from finishing the horror show that has been the 2025 season.

First up is the Washington Commanders on the road.

The Cowboys, at 6-8-1, are struggling to reach .500 this season, and beating Washington would go a long way toward doing so.

But as Dallas dropped its injury report on Tuesday, it might be a little tougher than initially thought.

Ryan Flournoy, DeMarvion Overshown and Tyler Guyton were all DNPs.

Flournoy is dealing with a knee issue, Overshown is still on concussion protocol, and Guyton's ankle injury likely means he'll sit out the rest of the year.

Elsewhere, a host of Cowboys players were still limited.

In total, nine players who were limited on Monday, carried that same designation on Tuesday.

Tyler Booker, Javonte Williams, Quinnen Williams, KaVontae Turpin, and Donovan Wilson are the headliners there. They will be a close watch over the next 24 hours for head coach Brian Schottenheimer. ... though we're betting that group will go ...

Kenny Clark, T.J. Bass, Malik Davis, Shavon Revel, and Nate Thomas were all full participants at The Star.

So that takes care of the Cowboys.

The 4-11 Commanders might be in more strife than Dallas.

Tuesday marked the second straight day Marcus Mariota was a DNP with a hand issue. With Jaydon Daniels done for the year, if Mariota can't go, then it could be 39-year-old Josh Johnson who starts.

Johnson is 1-8 in his career, and if he is handed the start by Dan Quinn, he could be without left tackle Laremy Tunsil who was a DNP for the second straight day with an oblique issue.

Christmas Day looms large for these two beaten up and bruised NFC East rivals.

Who will be the last one standing?

It might depend on how many of them are sitting.
