It didn't take long, and Trevon Diggs ended up exactly where most thought he would.

Well, that didn't take long, did it?

Just a day after the Dallas Cowboys released All-Pro corner Trevon Diggs, he has now landed with his best friend, Micah Parsons, and the Green Bay Packers.

The past 24 hours have been a media wave after the Cowboys decided to move on from Diggs, who stayed behind in Washington after the Week 17 game while the rest of his team flew back to Dallas, which turned out to be the final straw.

In truth, Diggs to Green Bay was always on the cards.

Especially when we add in that just hours after Diggs was released, he hired David Mulugheta as his agent, who also happens to represent Micah.

So, we put two and two together and you have Diggs as a Packer.

It is an interesting addition for the Packers, who will be part of the playoff tournament.

Diggs has a chance to get a day or two of practice under his belt, potentially making him available for Week 18 or the postseason when it begins.

The Diggs saga has dragged on for long enough, and with the Cowboys deciding that this was the right time to move on, now Trevon lands with one of Dallas' rivals.

But it might not be a smooth fit for Diggs, as CBS Sports' Garrett Podell posted on X that Packers defensive coordinator Jeff Hafley runs zone on 79.3 percent of defensive plays. We know Trevon's feelings on Matt Eberflus' zone scheme.

It is going to be an interesting watch to see how Diggs fits into that system ahead of a playoff run in Green Bay.

Dallas didn't want Diggs. Green Bay did.

Now let's see how this story unfolds.
