After one of his worst seasons statistically, is Lamb one of the NFL's top 100 players?
The 2025 season for Dallas Cowboys receiver CeeDee Lamb was a difficult one, with the offense being elite while he had a (relative) down year.
Lamb was joined by George Pickens to form one of the best receiver tandems in football, and the pair both surpassed 1,000 yards, as expected, but Pickens took the limelight as Lamb struggled. ... mostly due to injury.
An ankle injury early in the season against Chicago seemed to linger for the entire year, and Lamb's production, while for mere mortals was good, for him, not so much.
Lamb posted his lowest totals in yards (1,070), receptions (75), and touchdowns (3) since his rookie season in 2020.
Nevertheless, we know two things:

2 - There seems to be a debate, as we know CeeDee is among the NFL's best receivers ... but after his "down" 2025 season, some think Pickens is Dallas' No. 1 receiver.
So where does CeeDee rank in NFL.com's annual Top 100 list of players?
Well, he's taken a considerable drop. He's at No. 55.
"The successful introduction of George Pickens into the Dallas offense meant fewer targets, receptions, yards and touchdowns for Lamb in 2025 -- and an inevitable drop in his fifth straight appearance in the annual NFL Top 100," NFL.com wrote. "However, Lamb's 20-spot decline is no barometer for his talent level, which hasn't fallen off."
With Pickens in the frame, it is no wonder that Lamb's stats dropped, but he also missed three games, and had he played all 17 games with his 2025-yard average, he would have surpassed 1,300 yards.
So, it isn't like Lamb wasn't producing when he was on the field; he still had six 100-yard games, which was one more than George, who played all 17 games.
Now, this list means nothing in how Lamb is viewed in the league, because if you ask people to rank their top receivers, CeeDee is on that list.
But now that he is as healthy as he has ever been in two years, No. 88, somewhat oddly, might have to remind everyone that he is the weapon for Dak Prescott in 2026.
Injuries over the past two seasons have hurt CeeDee's production, but now that he has a clean bill of health, an All-Pro season might be loading.
And if it is, he'll be far higher on this list in a year's time. ... making your Collector's Item CeeDee Bobblehead all that more valuable!
