Lamb is entering Year 7, and we might be about to see the best version of No. 88, and that is a scary thought for the rest of the league.
We know what Dallas Cowboys receiver CeeDee Lamb is as far as a receiver -- one of the NFL's best.
Lamb, in his six years has surpassed 1,000 yards in five of them (and consecutively too), while being an All-Pro and five-time Pro Bowler.
CeeDee has posted 7,416 yards and 41 TDs in his career thus far, and his connection with Dak Prescott over the years has seen the pair develop into one of the most feared QB/WR duos in football.
But it has been a while since we have seen Lamb be truly elite, hasn't it?
In truth, there is a good reason for that -- injuries.
In 2024, we know CeeDee battled a shoulder injury for the second half of the year, and when the playoffs were off the table, Dallas shut him down for the season.
Then last year, Lamb injured his ankle in the loss to the Chicago Bears, and we get the sense it continued to trouble him as he posted his lowest yards total (1,077), receptions (75), and touchdowns (3) since his rookie season.
So, a couple of down years for CeeDee since his 2023 All-Pro season.
But for analyst Ryan Clark, who was a guest on the Mina Kimes Show, he revealed a conversation he had with Lamb, and the league should take notice.
"I actually saw him this week, and he's like I haven’t felt this good or this healthy in two years in the offseason," Clark said.
A fully healthy Lamb is a nightmare.
Plus, with George Pickens as his running mate, maybe we are about to see the best version of CeeDee in 2026. Yes, he has had his drop issues, which plagued him early in the year against the Philadelphia Eagles, as he had a career-high eight in 2025, but being healthy is half the battle.
We know what sort of player Lamb is when he's in full flight, and we did see it at stages last season, but it was fleeting.
Now, as we turn for Oxnard in a couple of weeks, Lamb appears to be fully healthy and in a great spot mentally, and that doesn't bode well for the defenses that will be tasked with trying to stop him in 2026.
Is a return to his All-Pro form on the cards?
