It was a good season for Cowboys pass-catchers with CeeDee Lamb and George Pickens taking the headlines.

The Dallas Cowboys had one of the better offenses in football in 2025, thanks to Dak Prescott. But also thanks to his two key weapons.

CeeDee Lamb and George Pickens both surpassed 1,000 yards, with the duo wreaking havoc all season. ... and at one point, nicknaming themselves the "Goodfellas'' as they became BFFs.

Ryan Flournoy's emergence was good for the soul, and heading into the offseason, the WR3 role is his for the taking.

Jalen Tolbert took a step back, as the offense largely went through 88 and 3.

Let's take a look back at how the receivers fared for Brian Schottenheimer.

The Good:

Easily the form of Pickens and the emergence of Flournoy.

George, aside from a two-game stretch of subpar performance, was stellar. A Pro Bowl nod, over 1,400 yards, and nine touchdowns. That'll do.

Now the Cowboys have to figure out how to keep Pickens around in 2026.

For Flournoy, whenever his number was called, he produced. Two 100-yard games and multiple third-down conversions are evidence of his chemistry with Dak Prescott.

"Flo" is WR3 until further notice.

The Bad:

Aside from Lamb and Pickens, no one else stepped up consistently. ... with Pickens' weird disappearing act against the Lions his only real blemish this year following his trade from Pittsburgh.

Granted, having those two on the field, they will get 95 percent of the targets, which happened, but Jalen Tolbert was a non-factor for the entire season.

KaVontae Turpin didn't come on as a receiver, and it was only Flournoy's emergence that gave hope for big-time improvement heading into 2026.

Having Flournoy get a full offseason as the third receiver should mean that Dak will have a good trio of weapons heading into next year.

But others need to advance.

The Ugly:

Flournoy's emergence was the good, but Tolbert's drop off is the ugly.

Thought to be a key player heading into the year after a 600-yard, 7 TD season in 2024, Jalen fell off a cliff.

And "Flo" pounced.

Our Mike Fisher thinks that Tolbert, who is a free agent, won't even be a thought for the Cowboys thanks to Flournoy's play. That shows how far Tolbert has fallen.

Also, I feel I should add in Jonathan Mingo here as well. One catch for 25 yards in six games after "that" trade.

Where he fits going forward, I have no idea, but one place he won't, is near the top of the Dallas depth chart.

In the end, though, few teams have what Lamb and Pickens offer. And in Flournoy, maybe there's room for a third "Goodfella.''
