Lamb and Pickens were an elite tandem last season, but CeeDee knows the pair can get even better in 2026.
Dallas Cowboys receivers CeeDee Lamb and George Pickens tormented the NFL last season as Dak Prescott led one of the best offenses in football.
Pickens had a Pro Bowl season, posting 1,429 yards and 9 TDs from 93 receptions, while Lamb, in a "down" year, managed 1077 yards and 3 TDs from 75 receptions.
But that was last year.
Now, after a full offseason together, and another year in Brian Schottenheimer's offense, the pair have been all gas, no brakes in camp and preseason.
Yes, George has been the "summer MVP,'' but Lamb has also had his turn in the sun, so what that projects for the pair in 2026 is likely a lot of production.
But how much better does CeeDee think he and George can be this upcoming season?
"We can be real, real vicious together," Lamb said. "I know that. He knows that. Every day we strive to do it. We've had a lot of success together, but I know there's much more out there for us."
"Vicious'' is quite a creative word here. But it fits.
Having to guard Lamb and Pickens is a nightmare for NFL defenses, but then we add in Ryan Flournoy, who is now WR3, Kavontae Turpin, Jonathan Mingo, and Camden Brown; Dak has weapons everywhere.
But the focus will be on Lamb and Pickens, because last season, the pair were at times unguardable.
Now, another offseason to get even more comfortable in Schottenheimer's system, plus with Pickens playing for what he hopes is a monster contract at the end of the year, it is easy to see why many are predicting fireworks from the pair.
Of course, defenses will be doing their best to curb their influence on games, but such is the depth of Dallas' receiver room; if Pickens and Lamb don't get you, Flournoy, Turpin, and maybe Mingo and Brown will.
A big reason for the hope and excitement heading into the new season is coordinator Christian Parker's defense, but also that many have the offense being just as good as last year.
That means Lamb and Pickens are about to feast.
And when it comes to the best receiving duos in football, the "vicious" tandem of CeeDee and George is perhaps the best there is.
