LAS VEGAS - The past couple of days have seen Dallas Cowboys defensive duo DeMarvion Overshown and rookie Shavon Revel Jr. ramp up their comebacks from injury.
Given that the pair had suffered brutal injuries, naturally, the Cowboys took the slow and cautious approach, not wanting to put too much on Overshown or Revel's plate.
But as the team gears up for today's "Monday Night Football'' clash here in Las Vegas against the Raiders, when the Dallas injury report dropped on Saturday, it was a sight for sore eyes.
Both Overshown and Revel Jr. were "full" participants in practice.
Now, exactly how much is the duo can expect to play?
And who else is being moved up to the active list to make it all happen?
It's hard to imagine the new guys all playing 60 snaps - though maybe it's more likely for trade-deadline acquisitions Quinnen Williams and Logan Wilson.
For Revel Jr.? He'll be wearing a knee brace ... so we'll keep an eye on that.
As far as Overshown? Well, he has already stated that if he is on a pitch count, and it's late in the fourth quarter, and a play has to be made, regardless of if he is at his snap limit or not, he's going back out on the field.
Meanwhile, those three moves (with the inactives to be announced 90 minutes before kickoff) ...
The club just now activated safety Malik Hooker (toe) from Reserve/Injured-Designated for Return and elevated running Malik Davis from the practice squad.
The Cowboys also placed tackle Ajani Cornelius on Reserve/Injured on Monday.
The Hooker move is a surprise and a pleasant one as Dallas - which has viewed him as a sort of "Defensive QB'' - had just opened up his 21-day window to return.
Game script will likely play a huge role in how much Overshown and Revel Jr. play on Monday night and if it is a blowout or Dallas has the game in hand, maybe an extra handful of plays will be forthcoming.
Conversely, it might be a good chance to shut down both after getting their first football work in over a year.
Either way, both Overshown and Revel Jr. are ready to go against Las Vegas, and we know the 3-5-1 Cowboys can't wait to unleash them.
