Cowboys' CeeDee Lamb Drops Incredible Stat Ahead Of Cardinals Showdown
Nov 1, 2026 3:34 PM

The Cowboys host the Cardinals on Sunday, and CeeDee Lamb is perhaps more determined than most to get a win.

The Dallas Cowboys will host the Arizona Cardinals at AT&T Stadium on Sunday as Brian Schottenheimer's team aims to win back-to-back games for the first time this season.

The Cardinals have been Dallas' kryptonite over the years, often with the Cowboys favorites, Arizona strolls in and embarrasses them.

For whatever reason, the Cardinals just have Dallas' number.

And as it turns out, CeeDee Lamb is well aware of the recent meetings between the NFC franchises.

How do we know?

Because he dropped an eyebrow-raising stat when speaking to the media.

"I've never beat the Cardinals since I've been in the league, so that's kind of fair to say," Lamb said. "It's definitely a note to take. It's just crazy being very, very relaxed, and they've punched us in the mouth every single time."

Since entering the league in 2020, Lamb is 0-4 against the Cardinals, which boggles the mind if we are being honest. But we imagine quite a few other players still haven't tasted victory over Arizona either.

But Lamb's struggles against the Cardinals go deeper than just the final score.

In his four games, he hasn't caught a single touchdown, nor has he surpassed 85 yards in a game. Granted, he's posted at least 50 yards, but he hasn't had the standout game we have come to expect from 88 against almost every other team.

So yes, Dallas will once again come into a game against Arizona as the favorites, but as history tells us, that means absolutely zero because the Cardinals just find ways to beat the Cowboys.

Whether at home or on the road at AT&T Stadium, Arizona seems to have an answer for every test Dallas throws at it.

Well, given the season the Cowboys have had and their upcoming schedule, this is a game that Schottenheimer's team has to have. There are no ifs or buts. A win is needed.

One for momentum, two for the division, and three, you want to give Lamb, and likely a host of other players, their first victory over the Cardinals.

For all of 88's greatness through the years, one team is just a thorn in his side, and given that Lamb brought up the fact that he hasn't beaten them in his career, it tells us it is on his mind.

So, look for CeeDee to be a little more motivated than usual to not only find the endzone on Sunday, but to play a starring role in a win over the Cardinals.
