Cowboys' CeeDee Lamb Reveals 'Easy' Path To Wins; Will It Work Vs. Cardinals?

The Cowboys' offense looked like a different beast on offense Monday night, and Lamb knows why.

The Dallas Cowboys' offense finally came to life in a 38-21 win over the Philadelphia Eagles on Monday night at Lincoln Financial Field.

After two weeks of poor play, the pitchforks were being sharpened for the offense, but in Philadelphia, the group returned to its dominant ways.

CeeDee Lamb hauled in 74 yards and 2 TDs from five receptions, George Pickens managed 57 yards and a touchdown, while Ryan Flournoy totaled 70 yards from four receptions.

But the biggest reason the Cowboys won was Javonte Williams' 155 yards from 25 carries as the Dallas offensive line pushed and dominated Philadelphia's defensive line.

The Cowboys' run game had been poor all season, but it found life on the road, against a division rival, and it proved to be the catalyst for a much-needed win.

And for Lamb, when asked what was so different about the offense in Philadelphia, his answer was exactly what you'd expect.

“We're able to get the run game started for one, and then we're very balanced,” Lamb said. “I looked up at the scoreboard, and I saw we had 200 on the ground and 200 in passing yards. It's fire! It made it easy for us.

"Everything was just flowing. O-line did a great job of just executing and just really moving the line of scrimmage of their D-line, and 'Tay [Williams] had a day.”

That word again. Balanced.

And now it needs to carry over to Week 8 and Sunday's visit from the 2-5 Arizona Cardinals, who rank 27th in yards allowed (354 per game) and 32nd in points allowed (29.7 yards per game).

Sidebar: The Cowboys can't giggle too much at those numbers; Dallas ranks 32nd in yards allowed (373.7 per) and 22nd in points allowed (25.7).

We heard it several times post-game, and after the loss to the Green Bay Packers that saw Dak Prescott have 54 passing attempts and Javonte just 11 rushing attempts, that isn't a way to live in the NFL.

Fast forward a week, Dak had just 27 pass attempts, while Williams had the most carries in his career since 2023.

That was the difference.

With the Eagles forced to load the box to stop Javonte, that left Lamb and Pickens one-on-one, and the pair, for the first time together in 2026, feasted.

A total of 131 yards and 3 TDs from Dallas' star duo is the exact return fans were hoping for, and in their team's moment of need, they answered the call.

This was made a lot easier by the offensive line opening up huge running lanes and Javonte rushing for a career-high 155 yards.

Arizona represents a wild card vs. Dallas. Inexplicably, the undermanned Cards have won four straight against the Cowboys and dating back to 2008 have won eight of the last nine.

The best answer this Sunday?

Complementary football, folks. It's the real winning formula. ... last week, this week and beyond.
