The Cowboys quarterback and his fiancée were set to marry in April, but the wedding has now been called off.
The Dallas Cowboys are all in on free agency, but for their star quarterback, Dak Prescott, his mind is likley elsewhere ... and rightly so.
We had heard reports that Dak and his fiancée, Sarah Jane Ramos, whose wedding was supposed to take place in Lake Como, Italy in April, had been called off.
Some reports stated that the pair broke up because Ramos did not want to sign a pre-nup, which was later noted by her to be untrue.
"This had nothing to do with a pre-nup,'' she wrote on social media. "I hope we can put that rumor to rest right now.''
But we have seen reports that a heated argument took place at their joint bachelor and bachelorette parties, as trouble had reportedly been brewing for the past couple of months.
As such, the pair decided to call it quits just a month before the big day.
And an email the couple sent to its guests that has been obtained by TMZ, and reads as follows:
"As many of you know, our wedding is currently scheduled to take place in Lake Como, Italy, on Friday, April 10, 2026,” the email read. “It is with heavy hearts that we privately inform our attendees that we have made the very difficult decision to cancel our wedding.
“We deeply apologize for any inconvenience this may cause you and we welcome your prayers.”
I've seen many people on social media mocking the couple and Dak in particular, and that is the worst part about being a public figure like Prescott.
Everything is on the table for people to sharpen their pitchforks for.
In truth, splitting up with your partner isn't a nice thing; it's not something that should be publicized, but unfortunately, when you are the starting quarterback for the Cowboys, it's just part of the deal.
Dak and Sarah Jane have two young daughters, whom, according to reports, they will work to co-parent.
Many often lose sight of the impact that a split can have on children, especially ones as young as Dak and Sarah Jane's.
But unfortunately, that is a part of life.
People stay together, people break up, and the world moves on. As harsh as it is to say, Prescott will move on eventually, but we hardly expect it to be an easy thing to do.
In just a month, he was set to marry the love of his life, and for whatever reason, it just hasn't worked out.
And now we have official confirmation that Dak and Sarah Jane have indeed decided to part ways.
