After a thrilling comeback win in Houston, Dallas must now channel their second-half resilience and adaptive execution to fuel a consistent offensive surge against Tampa Bay.

If you are looking for a classic tale of two halves in a game of football, the Dallas Cowboys' 34-30 win over the Houston Texans last week was it.

In the first half, Dallas scored six points, with the Texans easily handling one of the better offenses in football.

But then the second half happened...

Dallas scored 28 points, managed touchdowns on four of five possessions, and with the game on the line, Dak Prescott drove 74 yards in 16 plays before hitting CeeDee Lamb for a 12-yard touchdown with 40 seconds left.

GOTI had arrived at NRG Stadium.

Given how poorly the offense played in the first half and the complete turnaround in the second, how can the Cowboys bottle what they did in Houston for the rest of the season?

"We've got to execute, and sure, believing in yourself, that's one thing, but then, secondly, understanding that you're going to have to adjust and adapt," Prescott said of his "Greatest Offense There Is.''

"It is a game of two halves. I'd love to come out like we came out in the second half at the beginning of every game and play all four quarters that way.

"But is that real in the NFL when you got elite coaches, elite players that have the same amount of time to prepare? You just got to give them credit. For us, it's about believing in ourselves and just staying resilient. If it doesn't happen on that drive or the play we wanted to, just not get down on ourselves and understand we go to the sideline, we can fix some things and make some things better, come back out, and we've got to execute then."

So, it is simple. Belief. Or maybe as Brian Schottenheimer said, Godfidence.

Either way, something clicked in a positive way for the Cowboys in that second half, and once they got rolling, Houston couldn't stop them (one drive it forced a punt).

Granted, expecting the Cowboys to be nearly flawless for an entire half of football again likely isn't real, but the offense has shown it can do it.

So, we know it's in there. It is just a matter of doing it consistently. That's the challenge.

But Dak has revealed how the offense can give itself the best chance at making sure we see that level of performance more often than not.

Now, let's see if they can do it against Tampa Bay at home on "Thursday Night Football.''
