The Cowboys aren't happy with how Week 14 played out in Detroit.

The Dallas Cowboys saw their three-game winning streak come to an abrupt end as the Detroit Lions rolled to a 44-30 win at Ford Field, making the Cowboys' hopes of what was already an unlikely playoff spot even harder to obtain.

The biggest thing to come out of the game was that this was a proper team loss.

In all three phases, the Cowboys did not play well.

Special teams giving up big returns, the defense not getting stops late in the game or with regularity, and the offense with several turnovers and penalties kept shooting itself in the foot.

Given what was at stake, this could easily be seen as a deflating win, right?

    Well, not for Dak Prescott.

“The guys are p----d off right now," Prescott said. "I don’t think this is any deflated moment like our hands are up, we’re done. No. Absolutely not. I think you’re gonna get a team that’s p----d. I hope it pisses people off the right way and we use it as fuel.”

With four games left, the Cowboys will have to run the table and have other results go their way if they are to make the playoffs.

The next four weeks are going to be key in the Cowboys' trajectory, not only for the season, but beyond.

Will they rally and fight to win every game, or will they go quietly into the abyss like other teams who miss the playoffs?

I'll bank on the latter, and with the locker room "p----d off" at what they put out on the field on national television, the response should be fierce.

Granted, four games in roughly 17 days is a big ask, and Dallas went 3-1, beating the Philadelphia Eagles and Kansas City Chiefs in the process.

So yes, it is a bump in the road, and a nasty one at that, but with an angry feeling, maybe Dallas won't be going quietly into that good night.
