Cowboys receiver George Pickens wants to keep the momentum rolling against the Kansas City Chiefs.

The Dallas Cowboys' come-from-behind win over the Philadelphia Eagles was superb as coach Brian Schottenheimer's team roared back from an early three-TD deficit to win 24-21.

But with the Cowboys being on a short week as Thanksgiving and the Kansas City Chiefs coming into view for Thursday's high-profile meeting at AT&T Stadium, some are immediately flushing the win to fully focus on the Chiefs.

Granted, that is good in theory, and Schottenheimer stated you don't really have a choice but to do that given the schedule.

    But maybe there's another way.

George Pickens, who again had a massive day in the historic 24-21 win over the Eagles on Sunday, wants to use it as momentum to take on Kansas City.

"I feel like with a short week, you want to put it in the forefront, use the momentum that you have knowing that KC also seeing the game as well, everybody around the country did,” Pickens said. “So, just use the momentum and bring that into the next game.”

With both Dallas and Kansas City coming off stirring wins and having their seasons saved, Week 13's game has a lot riding on it.

The Cowboys, at 5-5-1, need to keep winning for an unlikely postseason slot (check out the Cowboys playoff picture realities here), while the 6-5 Chiefs need to win to keep their season alive, given how far back they are in the AFC chase.

And on a short week, some players will be running on fumes, and that is where what happened at AT&T Stadium on Sunday can be the fuel to fire up this Cowboys team to go again.

Yes, Schotty did state his team is banged up right now, so recovery is No. 1 on the to-do list as the defending AFC champs come into Dallas' building in a few days.

As for Pickens, he's likely still riding high after yet another dominating performance, something that is becoming a regular occurrence around here.
