Downs has barely been a Cowboy for a minute since being drafted, but he's already seeing the benefits of playing for America's Team.

Our own Mike Fisher has coined the term 'Sometimes Jerry Jones' Dallas Cowboys seem like a marketing company that plays football on the side, ' and for first-round draft pick Caleb Downs, he's already understanding the pulling power of America's Team.

Taken at pick No. 11 in the NFL Draft, Downs was seen as the ideal player for the Cowboys to get for Christian Parker, as now he has the quarterback of his defense.

Not to mention the potential face of the franchise.

We all know about the Cowboys' brand and how Jerry likes to keep his team in the headlines, create drama, and everything else you can think of to keep his team relevant.

Well, there are drawbacks to that, as most of us know, but there are also benefits, and by that, I mean financial benefits.

The commercials, the sponsorship deals, endorsements, you name it, they all come thick and fast when you're a high-profile Cowboy.

And for Downs, who has barely been a Cowboy for a minute, might have just gotten a glimpse of how powerful the media power that Jerry created is.

According to Fox Sports, the top 10 selling jerseys of the 2026 rookie class have been announced, and there's no second-guessing for who is No. 1.

Yep, you already know -- Downs.

Now, in the grand scheme of things, this means absolutely nothing, as it won't impact either way on how Caleb plays on the field.

But it is a nice reminder of the positives that come with being a Cowboy. Yes, the pressure and scrutiny are otherworldly, but the benefits are clear to see.

It is also interesting to see Downs in the top 10 for jersey sales, as he hasn't officially gotten his number yet.

Seen sporting No. 18 at Cowboys rookie minicamp, there is a thought that Downs is trying to get No. 2, his number at Ohio State, so time will tell if the rookie can get it.

But either way, it appears that Jerry Jones' marketing company is reaping the rewards of getting one of the best defensive players in the NFL.

Business is boomin' in Dallas, folks, with Downs the centerpiece to it.
