Williams has been through his first full offseason in Oxnard, and he's loved what he's been able to do.
Dallas Cowboys defensive tackle Quinnen Williams is reaping the rewards of a full offseason, as the franchise exits Oxnard and heads back to Texas.
With Williams being a mid-season trade last year, he was playing catch-up both on and off the field, and while he was still productive, we didn't see All-Pro Quinnen.
Fast forward to now, and after a full offseason of work at The Star and then in Oxnard, Williams has been a dynamic force in the middle of the defensive line for Christian Parker.
Plus, he's gotten his long-term future secured as well, so his time in Oxnard has been very fruitful.
Williams has been a thorn in the side of the Cowboys' offense routinely in practice, bursting through the offensive line, eating up blocks, and wreaking havoc, as we are seeing the benefits of Quinnen building chemistry with his teammates, plus having time to master the system.

As the team comes home to conduct practices inside The Star ... How has Quinnen seen his offseason work in Oxnard?
"I'm just enjoying it, I'm enjoying every single day," Williams said. "Enjoying going against one of the best offenses in the league. Enjoying getting better as a defensive unit, enjoying competing, enjoying learning and growing. So, camp has been pretty fun, been pretty good, and going in the right direction."
Williams having a full offseason of work is perhaps an underrated storyline, and it might actually be something that makes the defense an even better unit.
The same could be said for Kenny Clark as well.
Both are clearly benefiting from all of the practices, the meetings, and building the sort of chemistry that is going to be leaned on at times in the regular season. No, adversity hasn't hit yet, and it will. When it does, I get the feeling this defense, with Williams leading the way, is better equipped to handle it.
We know what sort of monster Quinnen can be, and while we haven't seen him be the game-wrecker he was in New York for a few years, maybe him finally having a full offseason in Dallas might be the thing that unlocks him becoming that threat once again.
Either way, it is easy to see that Williams has enjoyed his time in Oxnard, and fans hope that translates onto the field in 2026.
