For most, there is one Cowboys rookie who has stood above all other picks from the 2025 class.

The Dallas Cowboys' 2025 rookie draft class has been a little maligned this season given the fortunes of the team, but that doesn't mean there aren't some who are now beginning to make names for themselves.

First-rounder Tyler Booker has shown glimpses, while EDGE Donovan Ezeiruaku has begun to be the disruptive force we saw at Boston College last season.

Jaydon Blue, Jay Toia and Shemar James have seen the field in the opening couple of months ... and Shavon Revel Jr. set to debut Monday night).

But when it comes to who has been Dallas' "best" rookie through nine games, for CBS Sports' Josh Edwards, the answer is clear and obvious.

    In fact, it's Eze.

“Ezeiruaku has been bendy and explosive for Dallas over the past month as they continue searching for a Micah Parsons replacement,” Edwards wrote, reflecting on the blockbuster trade of Parsons to Green Bay.

Ezeiruaku is beginning to become the player the Cowboys wanted when he was drafted in Round 2, and has notched 2.0 sacks, leads Dallas in QB hits (10), and tackles for loss (six). He also has a forced fumble to his name.

While some see him as Micah Parsons' replacement, in truth, that is simply a bar the rookie, at least right now, won't reach because ...  come on, it's Micah we're talking about.

But there's no denying that Donovan is beginning to heat up as a pass rusher, with his two sacks coming in the last three games. with hopes of more of the same tonight in Las Vegas on "Monday Night Football'' against the Raiders.

He might have taken a little while to get up to speed, but Ezeiruaku is now starting to become a force for the Dallas defense.
