Everything to know about the Miami Dolphins taking on the San Francisco 49ers.

The Miami Dolphins are set to face off against the San Francisco 49ers in Week 2, in what will be a very tough test for the South Florida football team.

With a shaky start against the Las Vegas Raiders, the Dolphins need to build on the positives and ensure they can keep pace with the 49ers to grind out a win.

Here is everything to know about the game.

How to Watch

The Dolphins have stayed on the West Coast since taking on the Raiders, and are now set to face off against the 49ers at Levi's Stadium, with kick off planned at 1:25 Pm PST/4:25 PM EST.

The matchup will air locally on FOX, and those with streaming accounts like Fubo, Hulu + Live TV, DIRECTV STREAM, and Sling TV (in select markets) can stream the game live.

Additionally, out of market customers can stream live on YouTube NFL Sunday Ticket.

Predictions

It's tough to say that the Dolphins will have a shot against a team that handily beat the Los Angeles Rams in Week 1, but every time still has a chance.

The 49ers have a strong team despite their injuries, and Miami will need to play a very disciplined and tough brand of football to stand a chance. The issue is that the Dolphins are still growing and are likely not to have it all figured out yet.

More

The Dolphins are heading into this matchup at a loss already, as the team ruled out edge Chop Robinson, who suffered a concussion on Wednesday. With Robinson out, the pass rush has taken a sizable hit.

Miami's pass rush was near non-existent against the Raiders, and the same mistakes cannot be made against 49ers quarterback Brock Purdy. Purdy is one of the cleanest and quickest passers, and he will make the Dolphins' defense pay if he has time in the pocket.

Running back De'Von Achane only managed 36 yards on the ground in Week 1. If the Dolphins stand any chance of beating San Francisco, they will need to ensure they get far more production from their back.
