The Miami Dolphins and center Aaron Brewer have reached an agreement on a huge three-year, $52.5 million extension.

The Miami Dolphins have stuck to their word, as they have reached an agreement on a new deal for center Aaron Brewer. At three years and $52.5 million and $37 million guaranteed, Brewer is now one of the top paid centers in the league.

Brewer was discussed as being a cornerstone piece of the Dolphins roster moving forward, and general manager Jon-Eric Sullivan confirmed that with the deal being reached. The Protector of the Year nominee is now tied to the organization for the foreseeable future.

With an annual figure of $17.5 million, this places Brewer third in the league. Per overthecap.com, Las Vegas Raiders' Tyler Linderbaum leads the way with $27 million per year, and Kansas City Chiefs' Creed Humphrey is second with $18 million.

Brewer has been more than a huge playmaker for the Dolphins offense, leading to a second-team All-Pro nod in 2025 and a Protector of the Year nomination, as indicated above. Per Pro Football Focus, he was also the second-highest-rated center with an overall grade of 87.4, and his 91.5 run blocking grade ranks first.

The Dolphins may have had some huge changes in the roster and coaching staff, but Brewer was among the players viewed to be the building blocks for the 2026 season and beyond. He now joins running back De'Von Achane, who also received a four-year, $64 million extension in mid-May.

Brewer was an integral part of the success that Achane had in 2025, and now the pair will be together for the next few seasons, at least.

Despite there being a clear belief that the Dolphins team may struggle in 2026, the offensive line could be one of the major strengths. With Brewer at center, Patrick Paul at left tackle, and Austin Jackson at right tackle, this unit could be a huge strength.

It will be interesting to see if the Miami front office will now work on a deal for All-Pro linebacker Jordyn Brooks. Brooks has been the subject of trade chatter for months, but he was among the players listed as foundational pieces by Sullivan.

Thus far, the only foundational player that was mentioned by Sullivan that has been dealt is wide receiver Jaylen Waddle. Achane and Brewer have both received new deals, and Brooks would presumably be next.

Should the Dolphins lock Brooks in on a new deal as well, the core of the team will be strong in multiple spots for the next few years.
