Miami Dolphins cornerback Juju Brents spoke about how Jeff Hafley operates and what kind of culture he is already instilling in his players.

Miami Dolphins cornerback Juju Brents hasn't had the easiest path in the NFL, but he understands being ready when his number is called. After being claimed on waivers in 2025, the defensive back took advantage with a standout performance against the Buffalo Bills in November that included five tackles and a fumble recovery.

Now, Brents is looking ahead and has dropped some insight on the type of culture that is being created under new head coach Jeff Hafley. Though it is simplistic in nature, it is all about "intentionality."

"Intentionality. Everything matters, that's the big thing that I got from Haf," Brents said. "The way that we attack the meeting room. The way we walk around the building and communicate with each other. Everybody is new, so we are all trying to learn each other. Building that camaraderie, which is big, having that right culture."

Brents is speaking on Hafley's approach with effort. While that may sound like a simplistic word, it carries a lot of weight. The new Dolphins head coach has spoken plenty about players showing up and doing what they are expected to do.

Establishing a culture is always a tough task, but the idea is for this Miami roster to hold itself accountable and one another.

"Being intentional. Everything matters. The way we attack we going out to the weight room. The way we are on the field for walkthroughs. Everything matters. I think its a good vibe that he is creating for the team, and it's going to help us in the long run," Brents said.

Hafley has spoke to the media many times and has revealed this temperment himself. On top of being dependable and hard working, he spoke in length about players needing to infuse passion into everything they do.

That level of coaching is already making waves with the Dolphins players, as Brents isn't the only one who has spoken highly of the new head coach.

Miami will begin their training camp on July 21, as the rookies will report in, and the veterans will follow on July 28. There are a lot of moving parts and changes with the organization but Coach Hafley remains the constant that could lead to a quick turnaround.

The Dolphins are projected to be one of the worst teams in the league, but they are on equal footing with the rest of the league. Every NFL season brings surprises and new changes for teams that were once the bottom dwellers to those that are playoff hopefuls.

Hafley is clearly making his mark, and his players also appear to be buying into the new culture and identity that he is creating.
