The Miami Dolphins have been hit with a last-minute injury report addition that is concerning.

The Miami Dolphins are heading into their "Monday Night Football" matchup with the Pittsburgh Steelers with a short injury report, but now the team has a last-minute addition that is concerning.

One of the best aspects of this Dolphins turnaround has been the offensive line. The unit has melded together in a way that has allowed the run game to be completely transformed.

Miami has had some big additions miss multiple games and months, such as Andrew Meyer, who remains on IR. He is working his way back, but has yet to be activated.

Now, backup lineman Larry Borom has been added to the injury report with an illness. His status is currently questionable.

If the Dolphins choose to elevate any linemen from the practice squad for the game, it would potentially guarantee that Borom is not healthy enough to play against the Steelers. They will have until 4 PM EST to do so.

The only other player that is on the injury report is Elijah Campbell. Campbell suffered a knee injury in Week 14, and that has now lingered into Week 15. He is doubtful for the game.

The Dolphins are seeking to secure their seventh win of the season and will be .500 for the first time this season if they win. A win also keeps the team in the playoff conversation.

A lot has to happen for the Dolphins to make the postseason, but winning out is the simplest of paths to the postseason.

Granted, losing linemen right before kickoff is not ideal, but the team does have some depth to ensure injuries do not impact the game.

The temperature for the game is said to be somewhere in the 18-degree range, and it could be snowing. The narrative for the Dolphins has been that they cannot perform in cold-weather games, but they proved that narrative somewhat wrong by beating the New York Jets in an under-45-degree-weather game in Week 14.

The evolved run game will be the Dolphins' path to victory, and they will need the offensive line to be together and healthy to ensure they can run the game with the same efficiency they have in their winning streak.

Losing Borom will be tough to deal with, but he has not been ruled out just yet. He may still suit up, despite the illness that has led to him being added to the injury report.
