The Miami Dolphins have three players who are on the PFF top 101 players list.

Despite a season that has led the Miami Dolphins to enact a full reset, the team had some solid players on the roster. Those players could be the foundational players that the team uses to rebuild its roster for the future, minus one.

In a season that saw a lot of struggles, the Dolphins still had three players who made the PFF top 101 players list.

The first among those players is safety Minkah Fitzpatrick.

No. 75. Minkah Fitzpatrick - Safety

Fitzpatrick returned to the Dolphins after being traded back to his original team from the Pittsburgh Steelers. The Steelers acquired cornerback Jalen Ramsey and Jonnu Smith, while Fitzpatrick returned to Miami.

Despite a calf injury that sidelined him for the final three games of the season, Fitzpatrick was given an 81.8 overall grade, ranking him seventh among 98 safeties.

Fitzpatrick's coverage grade of 78.3 ranks him ninth, and his 77.1 pass rush grade is ranked 13th. His 81.8 overall grade is also the second-highest of his career.

The Dolphins are in a full reset, and that could mean Fitzpatrick might be traded again, only simply due to the team honoring his work by allowing him to join a would-be contender.

No. 30. De'Von Achane - Running back

De'Von Achane posted a career year, bringing in 1,350 yards and eight touchdowns on the ground, with a league-leading 5.7 yards per carry. Per PFF, Achane is first with an overall grade of 89.2 and first with a 91.0 rushing grade.

Achane was named to his first Pro Bowl after also securing 448 receiving yards and four touchdowns.

While the Dolphins are in a complete reset, it is believed that Achane will remain a building block for this team. With only three seasons under his young career, the sky appears to be the limit for the rising running back.

No. 23. Aaron Brewer - Center

The highest-ranked player on the list is Dolphins center Aaron Brewer. A game-wrecking center, he helped to push the pile for Achane, while protecting Tua Tagovailoa and Quinn Ewers.

Brewer's 87.4 overall grade was ranked second among 40 centers, and his 91.5 blocking grade was ranked first. His 71.2 passing block grade is ranked 10th, and his overall skills led to a Protector of the Year nod. The new award recognizes the top linemen in the NFL, and is a new award that was spearheaded by Buffalo Bills lineman Dion Dawkins.

Expect Brewer to join Achane as one of the few Dolphins players who will remain a building block.
