What Hard Rock is Being Renamed to for the World Cup?
Many Dolphins players may be tuning into the action in Miami, as Hard Rock Stadium is one of the 15 locations hosting the World Cup 2026. Among the additional cities are Los Angeles, Atlanta, Kansas City, Philadelphia, and San Francisco.
As per the standards from FIFA, stadiums must be renamed if they are named after companies that are not sponsored by the football organization. Considering the rules, Hard Rock will be transformed into Miami Stadium, with the promotional aspects of Hard Rock also being covered up for the duration of the tournament.
What World Cup Matches Are Being Hosted by Miami?
With Miami Stadium being one of the many locations, the site will host many matches, including the opening game between Saudi Arabia and Uruguay on June 15, followed by Uruguay and Cabo Verde on the 21st.
Brazil vs. Scotland on June 24 could be one of the most exciting matchups of the entire World Cup, as both figure to be top teams throughout the entire cup.
With Miami Stadium being one of the host cities, expect to see many Dolphins players engaging in and attending the games throughout the cup.
