The Miami Dolphins are signing veteran wide receiver Jalen Reagor.

ESPN’s Adam Schefter broke the news via X.

Reagor, 27, spent some of the 2025 season with the Los Angeles Chargers.

He will now head back East and join the rebuilding Dolphins team for the 2026 season.

The Dolphins will be Reagor’s fifth team of his career. He started his career with the Philadelphia Eagles after being a first-round pick in 2020. After only two underwhelming seasons in Philadelphia, Reagor was traded to the Minnesota Vikings in exchange for the Houston Texans' 2023 seventh-round pick as well as a 2024 conditional fifth-round pick.

After one season in the Midwest, Reagor was waived prior to the 2023 season. Just weeks before the start of the 2023 campaign, Reagor signed with the New England Patriots. In his time there, Reagor recorded seven receptions on 23 targets for 138 yards and zero touchdowns. He played in 11 games and started in only one.

A few weeks into the 2024 season, Reagor signed with the Chargers' practice squad. Reagor was eventually promoted to the active roster in early November of that season and finished the year with seven receptions for 100 yards in eight games and two starts.

Prior to the 2025 season, Reagor re-signed with the Chargers on a one-year contract but was released in late August as part of the final roster cuts and re-signed to the practice squad the next day.

He was ultimately released in mid-October and did not record a stat.

The 27-year-old has not lived up to the hype of being a first-round pick. In his career, Reagor has only totaled 86 receptions for 1,037 yards, four touchdowns and has recorded a catch percentage of 54.1 percent in 64 games and 27 starts.

If he happens to make the team, the 2026 season will be his sixth one in the NFL.

The Dolphins' wide receiver one was one that desperately needed a veteran, and now they have that with Reagor. It may not be the most flashy addition on paper, but it is a low-cost move that gives Miami at least some experienced depth at the position heading into the season.

Miami has very few to no expectations this upcoming season; however, if Reagor can provide some production and depth to the wide receiver room and help out quarterback Malik Willis, the Dolphins could put up a fight this season.

The 27-year-old attended three seasons at TCU and totaled 2,248 receiving yards in 39 games.
