The Miami Dolphins have released their initial injury report, and the team has mostly good news.

Despite cornerback Reese Taylor once again not practicing due to his quad injury, there are several players who may be making their return in Week 7.

Among those players are the return of linebacker Kyle Louis and wide receiver Caleb Douglas. Both were injured within one week of each other, leading to long layoffs from playing.

Louis was pegged to be a strong starter, and he had impressed through training camp and preseason. He suffered a knee injury early on in Week 1 and has not played since.

Douglas suffered an ankle injury in Week 2 and has since been attempting to make his way back to the field.

Douglas was the top target for Malik Willis prior to the injury. With the chance that the rookie pass catcher returns on Sunday, that could be a big boost to the ailing offense.

There were also several players who were full participants despite dealing with injuries.

Cornerback Juju Brents (heel), linebacker Jordyn Brooks (foot), guard Jonah Savaiinaea (ankle), quarterback Malik Willis (right thumb), and linebacker Jackson Woodard (ankle).

Savaiinaea suffered an ankle injury in Week 5 and exited the game. This led to Jarrett Kingston taking over.

Savaiinaea returning to practice and being a full participant is good news for the Dolphins offense and the offensive line.

Willis also did not throw during the team's practice session during the bye week, but head coach Jeff Hafley had indicated that his absence from throwing was nothing. That appears to be the case, as the quarterback was a full participant on Wednesday.

Getting both Douglas and Louis back will be big, but it all depends on how they respond to ramping back up to football activities. Hafley stated that both would be tested on Wednesday and throughout the week to determine if they can play.

Douglas might be a bit more further along than Louis, as he has been out for a bit longer.

Either way, the Dolphins have a strong chance to have most of their starters back for this important Week 7 divisional game.
