The Miami Dolphins have been given their training camp reporting dates for veterans and rookies.

The Miami Dolphins are on a break from football, as are the 31 other teams in the NFL. While players get a chance to relax and spend time away from the game, the league has announced the reporting dates for all teams.

Miami will kick off their training camp on July 21, with the rookies reporting in. Three days late on July 28, the veterans will report.

Additionally, the Dolphins have also been given their joint practice dates.

The Dolphins will travel to Virginia, where they will take on the Washington Commanders in a joint practice on Aug. 12, which will coincide with their preseason matchup.

Also, on Aug. 20, the Dolphins will host the New York Giants, which is coupled with their preseason matchup as well.

There are a lot of questions surrounding this new Miami team, including how new head coach Jeff Hafley will lead. Through OTAs and minicamp, the world has gotten a sense of Hafley's no-nonsense leadership, but that may change when the pads come on.

Hafley also indicated as such, saying he did not want to judge or put too much pressure on his expectations until "real" football is played. When the pads come on, that is when the true training camp battles will start to take shape.

Biggest Dolphins Training Camp Questions

For the Dolphins, the secondary will be one of the biggest questions. Storm Duck and Darrell Baker Jr. being injured does not put a lot of faith and stability in the group currently, and the team may need to address the unit in a major way.

Rasul Douglas remains unsigned and could be a veteran that is explored.

Additionally, the chemistry or concerns between quarterback Malik Willis will also need to be ironed out. Though it is still too early to panic, if Willis cannot establish some good connections with his pass catchers, the Dolphins may have a huge problem on their hands.

This Miami roster is also full of unknowns, but the chance to figure those unknowns out will officially begin towards the end of July. This will also be a chance to see what rookies will be ready for sizable roles, and which will need more time to develop.
