The Miami Dolphins are getting healthier, as the entire 53-man roster is back at practice.
The Miami Dolphins have been dealing with some significant injuries through training camp, but it appears the team is getting plenty healthy ahead of their Week 1 matchup with the Las Vegas Raiders.
During media availability, head coach Jeff Hafley revealed that the entire 53-man roster is practicing.
Two of the lingering injury cases for the Dolphins have been rookie tight end Will Kacmarek and linebacker Ronnie Harrison Jr. were the only two who have been dealing with an ailment that has kept them out of practice.
When speaking about their injuries, Hafley said they would both be practicing, and then he confirmed that everyone would also be on the field.
"They'll practice today, so we'll see how it progresses, but everybody will be out there today, so I'm excited for that," Hafley said.
Having a fully healthy roster would be huge for this Miami team that is going into the regular season with many question marks. Though there are many who believe this team will not be able to compete much, having every player available could point to the opposite.
Hafley has been preaching about fundamentals and process since he took over, and it appears that the entire team is buying into what he is selling. Despite the fact that there are unknowns at nearly every position, players who believe in the culture often play harder.
The Dolphins could get this 2026 season off on the right foot by playing tough and disciplined football come Sunday, and they have a shot to surprise many, including the Las Vegas Raiders.
Again, having a fully healthy roster will also aid them in a big way, but Hafley did say that he still needs to see how both Kacmarek and Harrison progress throughout the week.
Given that Miami plays on Sunday, injury reports will start to be released on Wednesday. If the linebacker and tight end are questionable throughout the week, they may still play.
If they are labeled as doubtful, then that may point to them not being able to suit up for Week 1.
Getting Kacmarek back healthy will be important, as he is the clear-cut tight end directly behind Greg Dulcich. The rookie's ability to block and catch is highly valuable, but he will need to be fully healthy to take the field.
Additionally, Hafley is not one to identify injuries to the media, but the reports will also determine what kinds of ailments these Dolphins players are currently dealing with. The hope for the team would be that neither the tight end nor the linebacker has anything that will be long-term.
