PFF put together a past 20 years All-PFF Team, which features multiple current Miami Dolphins players.
ProFootballFocus is one of the most trusted stats evaluators in the NFL, and they put together a list that features the highest-graded Miami Dolphins over the past 20 years.
Though the list would presumably be inhabited by players from past years and regimes, there are multiple current Dolphins players who have made the list.
Per the list, running back De'Von Achane, wide receivers Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle, and defensive tackle Zach Sieler have both made the list. Granted, Hill is no longer on the team, but he still counts as he was with the team in 2025 and previously.
Achane was the top ranked running back in 2025, with an overall grade of 89.2 and a rushing grade of 91.0.
Siler has been in the high 60s to high 70s since 2019. His best season was in 2021, when he posted an overall grade of 84.9.
Hill was one of the highest-rated pass catches in 2022 and 2023, when he joined the Dolphins and teamed up with Tua Tagovailoa to form one of the best WR/QB duos in the league.
Waddle has also been one of the most consistent performers on PFF since joining the Dolphins in 2021, not falling below a 72.0 overall grade in that time.
Achane and Sieler are both cornerstones pieces in this Miami team, and have a shot to continue being dominant in 2026. It all just depends on how the team melds together after a host of offseason changes.
Dolphins Players on All-PFF Team
Sieler, Hill, Waddle, and Achane may be the current or most-recent players on the team, but there are several notable Dolphins alum that inhabit the list.
Quarterback Ryan Tannehill is the top rated quarterback, along with slot receiver Jarvis Landry, tight end Anthony Fasano, center Mike Pouncey, and right guard Robert Hunt.
Hunt also still plays, but he joined the Carolina Panthers in 2024.
On defense, fan-favorite and long-talked about Dolphins edge rusher Cameron Wake is on the list, alongside former defensive lineman Christian Wilkins, linebacker Karlos Dansby, cornerback Xavien Howard, and many more.
There have been some quality players that have played in Miami over the past 20 years, which begs the question on how and why the team has not won a playoff game in over 25 years.
Mismanagement and talent acquisition is the most obvious issue, which is what led to sweeping changes with the front office and coaching staff. Now, the Dolphins have a chance to correct all of that under general manager Jon-Eric Sullivan and head coach Jeff Hafley.
