Miami Dolphins rookies Jacob Rodriguez and Caleb Johnson are among the top 10 in jersey sales.

There appears to be a lot of hope for the Miami Dolphins' draft, as their selections continue to garner solid grades and discussion. Among the staggering 13 players drafted, there are two who are garnering even more attention.

Per the early rookie jersey sales from Fanatics, linebacker Jacob Rodriguez and wide receiver Caleb Douglas are among the top sellers.

Though there are some understandable names on the list, like No. 1 overall pick Fernando Mendoza and No. 2 overall pick David Bailey, it is interesting to see the two Dolphins rookies also included.

Miami drafted Rodriguez in the second round at No. 43 overall, followed by Douglas in the third round at No. 75 overall.

Both have been discussed plenty in draft conversations, and for good reason. There could be the sheer connection that the rookies were both playing for Texas Tech, or there is a big belief that they can be difference makers.

Rodriguez was a bit of a shock pick for the Dolphins, but he is already drawing Defensive Rookie of the Year looks. Granted, nobody quite knows how rookies will perform in their first year, but he will be lined up alongside another Red Raider in the NFL's 2025 lead tackler, Jordyn Brooks.

Brooks messaged congratulations to Rodriguez when he was taken, offering excitement and support for the young prospect.

Rodriguez was voted a Unanimous All-America, including winning the Lombardi Award, Butkus Award, and more. He secured 117 sacks, one sack, six passes defended, and four interceptions in 2025.

The Texas Tech defender is a menace in the middle of the field and could form an incredibly formidable unit with Brooks and Tyrel Dodson.

Douglas has also drawn plenty of praise as well. With 1,723 yards and 13 touchdowns over the past two seasons, he can be a huge red zone target for the Dolphins and quarterback Malik Willis.

The young receiver does have an issue with drops, but at 6-foot-3 and 200 pounds, he can be the kind of 50/50 type of pass catcher that the Dolphins have needed for multiple years.

Fans are clearly seeing something in both Rodriguez and Douglas, who could be immediate impact players for the team in 2026.

Though the linebacker unit is already quite strong, Rodriguez has the kind of talent that can lead to him carving out a substantial role in Week 1 and beyond. The wide receiver room is a bit more stacked and has far more questions, but Douglas could impress during training camp and preseason to get his chances in the 2026 season.
