A look at five of the biggest questions for the Miami Dolphins offense heading into training camp.

The Miami Dolphins are set to start training camp, and the roster will start to show whether or not its construction can hold strong during the regular season.

Despite some major questions on both sides of the ball, the offense could be a unit that struggles more. That said, here are the five biggest questions to answer ahead of training camp.

5. Will the Offensive Line Hold?

The Dolphins' offensive line has the makings of a solid group, but it all hinges on the health of Austin Jackson. Jackson is a solid right tackle when healthy, but his inability to stay on the field has hampered the line for the past two seasons.

Kadyn Proctor is also set to be an oversized guard to help bully the left with Patrick Paul, but he may need to move to right tackle if Jackson cannot play through the full season. This could unravel the line very quickly due to the depth pieces still not being quite where they need to be.

4. Is the Dolphins' Tight End Room Lacking?

Greg Dulcich was brought back for obvious reasons, as he showed flashes of brilliance in 2025. Now, he is set to lead a room that will be dependent on young talent and unproven veterans.

Ben Sims did pull off a huge catch during minicamp, and he could be a sleeper to rise on the depth chart. However, rookies Will Kacmarek and Seydou Traore are set to be integral pieces of the room and could need time to adjust to the NFL level.

Though the Dolphins are not likely to look at veteran options, that may be the course of action to take if the room struggles in training camp.

3. Will De'Von Achane's Injury History be a Problem?

De'Von Achane figures to be a focal point for the Miami offense in 2026, but he just had shoulder surgery in the offseason. He is set to be ready for Week 1, but he has had a string of injuries that could be viewed as concerning.

Achane suffered an MCL sprain in 2023 that kept him out for multiple games. The 2024 season saw him suffer a concussion and ankle sprain. In 2025, he had a rib injury and now has the surgery.

Achane also signed a four-year, $64 million extension for his performance thus far. However, he needs to remain healthy.

2. Will the WR Room Produce Playmakers?

The current Dolphins wide receiver room leaves a lot to be desired on paper. It is led by Tutu Atwell and Jalen Tolbert, both of whom have had varying success, but not in the capacity of a true WR1.

Tolbert had a 610-yard and seven-touchdown season, which was the best of the pair, but he tumbled down the depth chart in 2025 due to the arrival of George Pickens. Beyond that are Malik Washington and rookies Chris Bell and Caleb Douglas, who could be looked at as the players who can make a leap.

Miami may need to bring some veteran help in should the unit show signs of not gelling with Malik Willis.

1. Will Malik Willis be the Dolphins Franchise Answer?

This is a question and point that has been driven home plenty, but it remains the biggest conundrum for a Dolphins organization that has lacked quarterback stability since Dan Marino retired in 1999.

Willis will now be the organization's 27th starter since Marino, which includes every backup that was called into action  as well.

Willis has the skill set to be a strong starter, but there is also great concern that he could be a fluke based on the six starts that he has had in the NFL. Regardless, he will be given a full chance to prove he is a quality starter.

The Dolphins have longed for a quarterback they can truly build around, and though that was Tua Tagovailoa for a brief period, that was just another failed experiment. Should Willis not live up to expectations, the team will once again be on the search for a signal caller who can lead this team for the forseeable future.
