Roundtable Dolphins crew James Brizuela and Billie Melissa break down the Miami Dolphins' 0- 5 start to the season with their loss to the Cincinnati Bengals.
The Miami Dolphins have now lost five games in a row, but there are some players starting to emerge.
One such player is running back Ollie Gordon II, who continues to show that he should be the clear-cut lead back. He has a 5.0 yards-per-carry average, along with 229 yards and three touchdowns over the past three games.
Dolphins quarterback Malik Willis needs to do more. Willis has struggled mightily in the past two games, and throwing two interceptions and fumbling once show that he continues to make mental errors.
Whether or not there is a Bobby Slowik issue or a Willis issue, the offense needs some major work, specifically in the passing game. Head coach Jeff Hafley made mention of that in the post-game presser, but it will be up to Hafley to ensure that changes are made.
Miami continues to operate without an identity, but is this holding them back? Linebacker Jordyn Brooks said they cannot have an identity until they win games.
