Are the Philadelphia Eagles going to trade A.J. Brown this offseason?

An AFC team with a superstar quarterback has been named an ideal offseason landing spot for Philadelphia Eagles star wideout A.J. Brown.

NFL analyst Moe Moton of Bleacher Report thinks the Baltimore Ravens, who have two-time MVP QB Lamar Jackson, would be a strong landing spot for Brown if the Eagles decide to trade the talented playmaker.

"Looking ahead, the Eagles could trade Brown for a first-round pick and an additional selection, then draft his replacement, as the Tennessee Titans did when they traded him to Philadelphia in 2022," Moton wrote. "Brown will turn 29 in June, which is still the back-end prime of his career. Philadelphia should be able to command at least a first-rounder for him, assuming he's healthy for the 2026 term.

    "Ideal Landing Spot: Baltimore Ravens."

Brown hasn't been happy with his role this season with the Eagles. He has only 29 catches for 395 yards and three touchdowns.

Even though the Eagles are 6-2, Brown wants the ball more. After all, he's a receiver, and as most NFL fans know, receivers always want more targets, catches and touchdowns. It's how they are wired.

If the Eagles don't repeat as champions, Brown could very well get traded this offseason. There are even some people around the NFL who think Philadelphia will trade Brown even if they win another Super Bowl. That's how bad the vibes are with Brown right now.

Jackson and Jalen Hurts are similar quarterbacks. Both players can beat you with their arms and legs.

The Ravens, though, pass the ball more than the Eagles, so Brown could be "happier" in Baltimore.

Brown signed a three-year, $96 million extension with the Eagles in 2024. The three-time Pro Bowler will make $23.4 million next season.

It will be fascinating to see if the Eagles attempt to trade Brown this offseason. If Brown is available, would the Ravens pursue a trade for the 28-year-old? Only time will tell, but talents like Brown don't become available that often and Baltimore will always be under pressure to acquire more stars around Jackson.

Brown has been in the NFL since 2019. He has 7,421 receiving yards and 52 receiving touchdowns with the Tennessee Titans and Eagles.
