Entering this week's season opener, the Eagles look different than years past. Star wide receiver A.J. Brown, who has been a headline name in Philadelphia over the last four years, is now playing for the New England Patriots after the blockbuster offseason trade.
For Jalen Hurts and the offense, this week offers a chance to quiet down the outside noise.
Brown has become a dominating storyline over the last couple of years. He has had multiple moments of clear disruption on the sideline. Without him on the field, the Eagles can prove that they are better as a unit without him.
Nick Sirianni is also looking to quiet down the noise about his future with the team. Hot seat rumors have continued to come out about him despite the major success he has brought to Philadelphia since becoming the team's head coach.

In his first game without Brown in years, Hurts will show that he's a franchise caliber quarterback. Hurts' future has been called into question quite a bit over the last couple of years as well.
Against Washington, Hurts will throw for at least 250 yards and three scores. He will also take care of the football well and won't commit a turnover.
Eagles' Defense Creates Havoc for Jayden Daniels
On the other side of the field, Jayden Daniels will be looking to bounce back from an injury-riddled 2025 season. Unfortunately for him, Week 1 won't be fun.
Between pressure and forced turnovers, the Eagles' defense will have a big day. Philadelphia will force at least three turnovers against the third-year quarterback and will sack Daniels at least four times.
Philadelphia's Offense Explodes With Big Saquon Barkley Game
We have already projected a big performance from Hurts, but Barkley is also going to perform at a high level. He will top 100 rushing yards and will also rack up at least 50 yards through the air.
Barkley will account for at least two touchdowns throughout the course of the game.
The Eagles Take Home a Convincing Victory
Behind a big offensive performance and a defensive effort that causes Daniels headaches, Philadelphia will start off the 2025 season with a convincing win.
