While I've said many times that I believe the Philadelphia Eagles have already won the division, that doesn't mean we haven't seen crazier things around the NFL happen.

For the Eagles, it's important that they view this game against the Dallas Cowboys as an opportunity to put them in the dirt.

The Cowboys have been one of the toughest teams in the NFL to evaluate throughout the year in some sense, as there have been parts throughout the season when their offense looks to be one of the best in the NFL, but the defense simply can't get stops at all.

When speaking to reporters about the upcoming matchup against their rival Eagles, Cowboys players seem to understand just how big a game it truly is. That includes a superstar CeeDee Lamb, who said they can even treat this game as a playoff contest.

"Technically, we could treat this as if we're in the playoffs, if you want to think of it that way," said Lamb, per the team. "Win or go home. I feel like that's the situation that we're in. And I feel like that's the right mindset that we gotta have going into every game. So as far as this [schedule] gauntlet, I'm excited for it.

"It should be fun, and I feel like we're gonna do just fine."

The only way the Eagles could lose this game is if the offense can't keep up with the Cowboys' offense. The reality is that the Eagles' offense has been brutal throughout the year, but it's also fair to wonder just how good that Cowboys offense will look against this loaded Eagles defense.

The Eagles have done nothing but show that they're one of the best defensive teams in NFL history throughout the season, so I don't expect Dallas to have too much success offensively.

Despite that reality, quarterback Dak Prescott understands what it'll take for them to win this game, and even went as far as to say that the next few weeks will be season-defining.

"[These next three games], they will be defining," said Prescott, the All-Pro quarterback not mincing words. "I don't think there's any if, ands or buts about it. Knowing where we put ourselves, what we have to do, yeah, after these three games, we'll either have given ourselves a good shot or put ourselves in a hole. I don't think that'll really be a discussion.
