The star WR took to social media.
After the Philadelphia Eagles lost to the New York Giants on Thursday Night Football, Eagles star WR A.J. Brown was asked about the meeting he had with QB Jalen Hurts and RB Saquon Barkley during the week.
Brown said he didn't recall the meeting.
"I don't recall a meeting," Brown said. "I don't know what you're talking about."
A day after the game, Brown took to social media to clear things up.
The Eagles are a mess right now on offense. They have one of the worst passing games in the NFL and now their running game hasn't been good either lately.
"You just got to fix the things that you're struggling with. Learn from winning," Brown said. "Right now, we're still on the other side of losing, so we have to learn from losing. It's very uncomfortable. It's easier to learn from winning because you feel OK about it. This stings."
The Eagles are 4-2 on the season. They beat the Dallas Cowboys in Week 1, the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 2, the Los Angeles Rams in Week 3 and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 4 before losing to the Denver Broncos in Week 5 and the Giants in Week 6.
Brown and Hurts haven't been on the same page all season. Brown had six catches for 80 yards against the Giants. He has 25 catches on the season for 274 yards and one touchdown.
The Eagles could be going through a Super Bowl hangover. They could also just not be the same offensive team anymore, with last year's OC Kellen Moore gone and Kevin Patullo taking over this season.
Moore is the now the head coach of the New Orleans Saints.
Philadelphia will look to get back on track next week against the Minnesota Vikings. A three-game losing streak for the Eagles would certainly make Brown trade rumors even louder than they already are.
