It's fair to wonder how people feel in the Philadelphia Eagles locker room about the current quarterback situation.

I'm never going to sit here and suggest that the Eagles should get rid of Jalen Hurts, because not only is it unlikely, but it wouldn't make sense. If Hurts were to ever be moved by the Eagles, there would be 25-plus teams in the NFL knocking on their door to figure something out.

The harsh reality of the NFL is that at times, quarterbacks aren't in the best spots to make plays, and we can't just blame Hurts for all of that. We have to look at the entire picture of the Eagles' offense, which hasn't been great, no matter why.

Despite that, some believe that the locker room is very frustrated with Hurts, including Eagles reporter Derrick Gunn, who even went as far as to say that in a lot of ways, the coaching staff is also frustrated with how he's played.

“Those things that [get] dissected on film [and] during practice, those things that are talked about among the quarterback coach, the offensive coordinator, the head coach … it has been constantly discussed all season long. Yet, when they transition to the field on a football game, he plays “his game.” Not the game the coaches want him to play. He plays “his game.” I don’t think you can get out of that mode at this particular point. I think it’s what we’re going to have to watch all season long, is him playing his game...

“It’s frustrating, in a lot of ways, to the coaching staff. And to the players. Extremely frustrating to the players. Because when they look at the film, the next day or a few days later, they see what’s available out there and what should’ve happened, and it didn’t happen, that’s frustrating to them as well,” he said.

Nick Sirianni already came out and said that he wasn't frustrated with how Hurts has played, and even admitted that he has to do a better job. Sirianna added that all he's doing right now is exactly what he's being asked to do.

I doubt we ever see a change at the quarterback position, as it simply wouldn't make any sense.
