Do you agree with this take about the Philadelphia Eagles' offense?

NFL analyst Kristopher Knox of Bleacher Report has revealed the Philadelphia Eagles offense's best-and-worst case scenario for the 2026 season.

Let's take a look at them.

Best-Case Scenario: New-Look Offense Finds an Early Passing Rhythm

Worst-Case Scenario: Sean Mannion Isn't Ready to be an OC

The Eagles, of course, traded A.J. Brown to the New England Patriots this offseason. Before trading Brown, Philadelphia added Marquise Brown, Dontayvion Wicks and Makai Lemon and hired Sean Mannion as its new OC.

"If the changes lead to better chemistry in the passing game, the Eagles offense should be back to where it was a few years ago, and Philly should be back in the Super Bowl mix," Knox wrote. "If it turns out that Mannion is in over his head, the offense won't be any better than it was in 2025."

The QB spot is the most important position in the NFL, so if Jalen Hurts plays well next season, the Eagles should be fine.

However, if Hurts struggles, Philadelphia will be in trouble.

Hurts finished the 2025 season with 3,224 passing yards, 25 passing touchdowns, 421 rushing yards and eight rushing touchdowns. He completed 64.8% of his passes.

Hurts enters next season with 17,891 passing yards, 110 passing touchdowns, 3,554 rushing yards and 63 rushing touchdowns in his career. He's made the Pro Bowl three times and won Super Bowl LIX MVP.

The Eagles signed Hurts to a five-year, $255 million extension in April 2023. However, there is little guaranteed money left on Hurts' deal after the 2026 season.

Mannion has connected well with Hurts already. Mannion is a former NFL QB, so he can relate to Hurts.

"Jalen's been awesome," Mannion said. "I really think he can do anything we ask of him. He's accurate. He's a great athlete. He really attacks the fundamentals. That's what's been really fun to watch these last two weeks of Phase 2. He's always wanting more things to work on, wanting more things regarding fundamentals, timing, understanding the scheme. He's hungry for more. Those are the guys that are really fun to work with."

Mannion will be Hurts' sixth play caller since Hurts entered the NFL in 2020. Even though Hurts has a Super Bowl MVP, he's under pressure to play well in 2026. Let's see how he does.
